	Claudia Lynn gathered her experiences and insights while traveling to different points of the globe. She resided in Mexico, Australia, Malaysia, Singapore, Indonesia, Costa Rica, Europe and Russia. During that time she encountered several peoples and their cultures. Each place had a different set of rules…different customs, different governments, different religions. Each culture had a different kind of dress, different types of marriage, different kinds of child care, and different ways of worship.








Some places ate no pork, some ate no beef, some no meat at all. Some cultures allowed only one wife, some four wives, some several wives, some several mistresses. Some people worshiped ancestors, some worshiped several gods, some worshiped one God, some worshiped a Savior Son. She began to ask: Who is right? Could they all be right? Is there a common thread, a common denominator running through them all? Is there a bottom line on which they were all connected? Thus began her quest. She studied each culture, each peoples and their beliefs. And she began to find the basis for the why and how of things. She found the one basic underlying truth…the one thing that ties them all together. In her book *To My Children: ALL ABOUT LIFE* she shares that one truth, the one principle with her children for them to use when choosing goals, lifestyles, and directing their lives. Each chapter explains how this principle can be applied to various aspects of life-selfhood, marriage, parenting, government, environment and spirituality. Ms. Lynn has a BA degree in Education and Child Development. She completed extra studies in English Literature at the University of Brisbane, Queensland, Australia. Also, she undertook extra studies in anthropology, religion, Asian art and history at the University of Singapore. In addition to graduate studies in literature at the University of Oregon, she has attended numerous creative writing workshops in the Northwest. Claudia Lynn has been married 45 years and raised several children. She currently resides in Oregon.
